Busy NOT Being Busy.

Let’s start with a conversation I had last weekend during yum cha with Azhar:

Me: I think my housemate; not Chong but the other one, thinks I’m nuts or something.

Azhar: Well, you are in a wa..

Me: I can never find out for sure because we don’t talk and he’s sort of the loner type as well. It’s like he’s seen another side of me or something. I’m telling you; there’s something wrong with me. It’s like when I sleep, my other personality, Darren, wakes up.

Azhar: Jessica la, Jessica.

Me: Stop giving my personalities chick names!

Thanks!

Azhar has been busy travelling the whole region since I last met him and while in Thailand, remembered to get me something >>

His stories of being in so many places makes me crazy jealous sometimes considering I’ve never been out of the country – sad isn’t it?

Then again, I love Malaysia. Wouldn't live anywhere else in this region.

I mean, Singapore is just too fucking expensive to live in not to mention ridiculously small and Thailand…well I’m thinking of the flaws but Phuket isn’t the solution to everything you know? As for Indonesia and Philippines, they’re just too corrupted. It’s either you’re filthy rich or terribly poor. That’s why there are plenty illegal immigrants here – the same situation as to the one between USA and Mexico.

Fact is fact right?

If any of my Indo friends read this…please don’t hate me. =)

How Embarassing Was That?

Yesterday, I went to the launch of ‘Club Speak’, our university’s debate club. The institution has very little amount of clubs and most of them are unactive as opposed to what the marketing department promote to lure people into enrolling here.

Anyway; there were like a thousand chairs in the hall and barely 10 people showed up and half left in the middle of the debate demo! How embarrassing was that? I could only imagine how annoyed the guest debaters were.

How I end up there? Well, besides the interest I have for debate and how I wanted to see the faces of the organisers when they found out no one’s coming, I assumed there was free food! Seemed like the food was for something else that was going to happen later that day. *sigh*

Signed for the club anyway since there’s barely a club in limkokwing that’s worth joining. Besides, I always have a knack on putting sense into people except myself!
