A Year of Decisions
In the past, no matter how fucked up things get, they always seem to worked out for me – probably because I always figure things out in the end. 2010, however, has been challenging. Nonetheless, it has given me more life-experience than I could have ever imagined. Makes me think that I could be better than I thought I could ever be.The past six months has been one heck of a ride. Between working full-time, over-time, everyday single day, sacrifices were made to make it work. I’m only worried of what would happen if I burn out – I might just throw away something that could be a great future.
As far as relationships goes, my friends and family have been nothing short of fantastic. I’m especially grateful to two friends who share a house with me. They’ve kept me company through some harsh times. Since I get nightmares most nights, I bet my roommate sleeps peacefully these days during his 3-month holiday. Come March, I hope to see their faces again.
2011 will be the year of decisions. As I’m turning 21 in two weeks, this year could affect what would be of me in the coming years.
There’s a time bomb to being awesome - and I don’t have much time left.
