13 Is A Bad Digit

It’s week 13 in our semester calendar, which means submission week! First one being tomorrow – and I’m barely three quarters done….

About a week ago I chatted with an old friend who’s currently studying in India about how I love working instead of studying. While I admit that might be true at some point, I wouldn’t be working if I knew I wasn’t skilful enough to pull it off (I’m a crazy perfectionist) and I wouldn’t be skilful if it had not been a result of researching a lot about art and design.

But why am I able to gracefully complete a job with a much tighter deadline but is unable to even start a simple schoolwork poster?

Let’s leave that for now. Also, since 13 is the submission week for everyone, I've been helping quite a number of seniors with their web design assignments since last week. One of them actually knocked my door when I was sleeping!

(room door knocked)

XXX: Fenson, you awake?

(I didn’t answer, does he notice there isn’t any light under the door!)

XXX: I need help with my web design. I wanted a transparent background but end up everything became transparent. I tried to call but you didn’t answer.

(obviously, I didn’t want to)

(but being the kind asshole I am, I pitied the guy and opened)

Me: How did you get in the house?

XXX: I called Dan (my housemate) and he opened the door.

(DAN! Why the hell did you do that!)

Fenson: *sigh* what is it?

…and there went three hours of my sleep!

Don’t get me wrong, I actually like helping people but the problem here is that I’ve taught this dumbass all the possible workarounds…two times! and he still doesn’t get it. WTF!

You’re two semesters above me and you’re asking help from a lazy junior (albeit a genius one).

Do you expect me to spoon feed you? Here. Here. Eat that steel, how’d that taste!
