Where I Study

When people ask me where I’m studying, I am always reluctant to answer and carefully digest ASAP the person’s possible reaction before giving a well thought response. It’s because of the typical perception of most Malaysians when they hear the name of the institution.

I don’t blame them. There’s a reason behind it. The place is one of the country’s most expensive universities. Automatically, people will take you for a spoiled rich brat which, btw, is mostly true.

But I’m not one of them. So stop asking me already because, unless I think you’d give a neutral reaction to the answer, I’d surely lie!
