The Hangover…well done rip-off!

I think The Hangover is a blast. Combine a simple story, talented cast and the sin city back drop and you get a fun, heavyweight free and a surprisingly entertaining movie.

And yet…

here I am going through the details as to why I should retract that opinion. I ask myself where have I seen this before? And then it came to me…This movie is a rip off of Dude, Where’s My Car! But never mind that. That movie was terrible and probably no one remembered it anyways.

The Hangover, despite being a copycat in this case, was able to give the story a little twist; enough to make it entertaining and a huge hit! The actors deserved the most respect here. A man-child, a pushover and a free willing jerk. To think that these different people could be friends is nearly out of the question – which serves up most of the comedy in this funny Vegas aftermath.
