Holiday Stress
It's Christmas eve and I still have tonnes of work to do. Feeling damn exhausted right now and I smell like trash! Since I could barely think, and my sleeping attempt doesn't seem to work because my body is contaminated with caffeine, I thought I might as well blog. Before this I said I was going to going to launch something big with a few people. Well it's actually a team of amateur freelancers working on budget web design projects (creative services aren't cheap these days and we aim to reverse that). Not to brag but we haven't even launch our website or any advertising scheme and there were already a few clients on hold (Mostly those I had to refuse before)
Well, it doesn't seem to be working well. Blaming myself for it though - my lack of leadership skills and my stupidity for choosing the wrong people to work with (not all though). Some of them have commitment problems and full of excuses while at the same time demanding more profit share than their workload.
I pity our current client, having to wait so long for a project to complete (It's been two weeks now). How often do you get a customer to say 'take all the time you need'?
Right now, I feel like I'm taking advantage of him saying that because I have to tell him I'd only be able to give him the website design after the holidays.
The pressure ain't over yet.
Even though I want to complete this project ASAP, I can't. Why? Because I have to be at my cousin's place for a few days to celebrate Christmas.
Hey, it's Christmas and everyone needs a rest right? Will go back to work on the 26th...I hope.
